Teachers

Our teachers all work as a team.  The teachers are familiar with all the children.  We, as a staff, have been involved in many professional organizations, such as the Pre-School Association of California, NAEYC, West Hollywood Children's Roundtable, American Montessori Society and West Hollywood Community Redevelopment PAC.

We will  have two groups in July 2008 

Preschool (ages 2.6-3.9) This class has a maximum of 16 children with 2 teachers.  This class is primarily for children who are ready for school. The children are exposed to a rich, nurturing environment.  There are centers for the children to explore and hold much to learn.

LAUP (ages 3.6-5.6) (4 by 12/2/08) is a Modified Montessori Classroom with a maximum of 24 children.  The children are exposed to phonics, math, science, home living, blocks, computers, art and music. This classroom is a Los Angeles Universal Preschool Classroom and has 3 teachers. Priority for admission will be our matriculating children and new full time children, followed by school day children with the lowest priority to 9-12:30 children only.
